2.  23 July

2.1  Picnic at Estabrook, Area #1; 11 am to whenever

Arranged by the lovely and talented Holly

Do we want to get volunteers for any of the communal stuff, like, say, a half-barrel?

In Olden Days, each family just brought its own meal, plus a little something - salad, like, or dessert - to share. We could easily do that again. With a little more planning, we could do something more like our Ethnic Foods potlucks - sharing main courses as well as ‘sides’. Any preferences?

Conrad commented “An ethnic potluck sounds fab to us, there will be four of us: Conrad, Beth, Marah and Jacob. Ellie will be at Bassoon camp and will miss everything.”

Chris is glad to bring some ethnic food, too.

2.2  Who’s coming

Tegan and Bill
Holly, Aria and Julia
Ardith and Neil
Conrad, Beth, Marah and Jacob
Chris and maybe Helen
Nancy Peske, George Darrow and son
Melody and Matthew
Kirstin and Al

2.3  Summary of What to Bring

Feel free to amend any of this, if I’ve left anything out or gotten anything wrong.

  • Conrad and Beth will bring Grill et Paraphernalia, plus an ethnic dish to share.
  • Kirstin and Al will bring beer and soda.
  • Chris will bring some ethnic food as well.
  • Tegan and Bill will bring a meat-based ethnic dish to share.
  • Nancy Peske and her husband George Darrow will bring a big green salad.
  • Everyone else: If you want to share, do it
    • How much (everyone always seems to bring too much)? If it’s a main-dish kind of thing, maybe think in terms of just a little more than what you’d normally make just for yourselves? That lets everyone have at least a taste of everything? Make sense?
    • If that would be a problem, don’t - No worries, mates!

2.4  Backup Plan

Conrad and Beth have invited us to their house, if the weather prevents us from having the picnic in the park. See Contact List for address and phone (the password for the page is anthro - just to keep the spambots out).

3.  Other?

Other Events?
What else would our visitors like to see or do while here, that we could make an event of?

Other Discussion?
Any other thoughts on what we might want to accomplish, with our reconnecting and in the autumn days of The Originals?

4.  This site

Y’all: Click the Edit tab at the top of the page. Then edit in the … edit box. Then scroll on down and put your name or initials or nom de guerre in the Author box and click Save or Preview. If you Preview, the preview pane will open below the edit box etc., so keep on scrolling! (as we used to say, didn’t we? Oh, wait: trucking. Never mind)

Cain’t hardly wait!
