The July, 2005 Gathering Events
Matthew Silverberg and his lady Melody flew to Chicago on Thursday, July 21. They, Chris Wellin and Holly Tappen made their separate ways to Milwaukee on Friday, July 22.
Below is a summary of what-all we done did. The final planning page is archived here. If folks will upload their digital or scanned pictures, Tegan will be happy to assemble them on the site for viewing.

Afterward
Conrad and Beth, Matthew and Melody, Holly, Chris, Tegan and Bill re-convened at Kirstin’s Bar, The Harp & Shamrock. We saw the finale of Festa Italiana’s Friday night fireworks over the downtown sky-line. It wasn’t a late night, but it was fun - great to see Kirstin and Al, who hadn’t been able to make it to dinner.

Beginning around (?) 5pm (?maybe?), we began to hear distant thunder. Sirens blew and the skies got gray. Conrad and Beth invited us to their house, so we packed up speedily and all pulled away just as the rain began to fall.
Evening
Conrad, Beth, Matthew, Melody, Holly, Chris, Tegan, Bill, Nancy, and George re-convened in Conrad and Beth’s family room for an evening of chatter; conversations got silly and serious, philosophical, practical and playful (Chris’s secret career - as a specialty act in the exotic dancing field - was revealed). Conrad and Beth’s hospitality was once again most generous; they made their home comfortable and easy for the rest of us to enjoy.
